School Violence Prevention
The CMHS initiative on school violence focuses on the collective involvement of families, communities, and schools to build resiliency to disruptive behavior disorders (for example, oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder).

Safe Schools Healthy Students
The Safe Schools Health Students initiative promotes awareness of issues that threaten safety in school environments and strives to educate students and school faculty members about prevention.

Child, Adolescent & Family Mental Health
The Child, Adolescent and Family Branch of the federal Center for Mental Health Services promotes and ensures that the mental health needs of children and their families are met within the context of community-based systems of care.

Comprehensive Community Mental Health Services Program for Children
A goal of the Comprehensive Community Mental Health Services Program for Children is to improve the delivery of mental health services and supports to children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances and their families who need help from more than one service system.

GIRL POWER! Is Good Mental Health
GIRL POWER! is paving the way for girls to build confidence, competence, and pride in themselves, in other words, enhancing girls' mental wellness. Messages and materials are also provided to girls about the risks and consequences associated with substance abuse and with potential mental health concerns.
