Imagine …
- a place where people ask “what happened to you” instead of “what’s wrong with you.
- a place that understands a survivor’s trauma triggers and creates a place of safety.
- a place committed to supporting the healing process while ensuring no more harm is done.
CMHS’s National Center for Trauma-Informed Care (NCTIC) provides the trauma training and technical assistance to assist in the transformation of publicly-funded agencies, programs, and services to a more supportive environment that is more supportive, comprehensively integrated, and empowering for trauma survivors.
